Key Lime Whipped Cream
Key lime is one of my husband’s favorite flavors. Its refreshing citrusy bite is especially delicious in the summer heat. This whipped cream is so light and fluffy and works perfectly every time due to the help of a whipping siphon! Yes, you, too, can make homemade whipped cream any time. It lasts for up to 10 days in the refrigerator. Because of this, make a big batch and enjoy.


Key Lime Whipped Cream

- 1 pint whipping cream organic
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp key lime juice
- ¼ tsp cream of tartar
Instructions
- Add the whipping cream to the whipping siphon. Then add the sugar, key lime juice, and cream of tartar and stir to dissolve. Once dissolved, screw on one iSi cream charger. Shake 5-6 times.1 pint whipping cream, 2 tbsp powdered sugar, 1 tbsp key lime juice, ¼ tsp cream of tartar
- Use immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to one week.

De Froid Tip: Piping Tips
The tip on your whipping siphon determines the look of your whipped cream. Imagine those beautiful large smooth swirls of frosting on a cupcake. The tip of the piping bag determines the look of the product it delivers.
My whipping siphon comes with two tips. Both tips have serrated ends that create texture in the appearance. If you want a smooth look for your presentation, simply place the whipping cream in a pipping bag and use a tip that has a round opening.
Piping savory foods like yolks in deviled eggs and duchess potatoes can elevate your presentation and take your cooking skills to the next level.
